Programs at Monte Verde ES

At Monte Verde Elementary, we offer a variety of programs designed to support students’ growth, curiosity, and success both in and beyond the classroom. From enrichment opportunities to activities that build leadership, creativity, and social-emotional skills, our programs help every student explore new interests and stay engaged in their learning community.

Starting in fifth grade, students at Monte Verde Elementary can join the musical band program. Students gain experience on snare and bass drums, and learn to play one of the following instruments: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or baritone horn. Lessons take place at each school twice a week.

The PAX program supports social-emotional learning and positive behavior in the classroom, helping students build focus, cooperation, and self-regulation skills.
