School Site Plans (SPSA)
Each year, school site councils at SSFUSD prepare a School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for their school. The SPSA helps coordinate educational services, outlines programs, and sets measurable goals to improve student learning.
Developed with input from the school community, the plan identifies root causes of academic challenges and implements research-based strategies to support students—especially those who are not yet meeting state standards.
The State of California requires every public school to prepare an SPSA annually, which is reviewed and approved by the local school board. At SSFUSD, each plan includes goals related to curriculum development and student achievement.
